Google Maps 最初用是在 8700 上，有一次去一个很偏僻的地方，就靠着基站定位找到了。当初升级至 8800，很大程度上也是因为有 GPS 的更精准的定位。3.0 版的 Google Maps 加入了谷歌纵横，和好友分享自己的位置，3.2 版将谷歌纵横深入优化，并将 My Maps 等强大功能附加于 Layer 中。
